I’m a licensed psychologist with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families thrive.
My mission is to create a safe, nurturing space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and supported. My approach centers on listening deeply, understanding your needs, and helping you grow toward greater self-awareness, fulfillment, and connection. My work blends research-backed techniques with creativity, playfulness, and intuition.
Therapy with me is never one-size-fits-all. I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds, including those from diverse cultural, racial, gender, and sexual identities. In brief, I always tailor my approach to you. Drawing from a diverse range of modalities to meet your unique needs, I integrating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, attachment-based work, even improv comedy techniques. Because while we’ll likely address serious and complex issues, the healing power of laughter and moments of levity are a strong, natural part of growth.
Together, we’ll build connection and create a space that feels safe, supportive, and human to foster meaningful, lasting change.
About Me
Education
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. My early training focused on crisis management, dynamic play, and dyadic therapy with children and families. During graduate school, I coordinated a school psychology assessment clinic and collaborated with field professionals in the School Psychology Assessment and Consultation clinic in addition to working at Mailman Center for Child Development in Miami. After my doctoral studies, I pursued an internship and postdoctoral training in New York at Andrus Children’s Center, deepening my expertise in psychotherapy and assessment. I’ve been in private practice since 2011, providing individual and group therapy for adolescents, young adults, and couples. I focus on individual growth, family work, relationships, sex and sexuality, as well as trauma. My diverse training supports clients facing challenges like anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and relationship dynamics.
